Possability People has its own, high quality care and support agency, called ‘Possability People: At Home’. We want to enable you, or your family or friends, to live safely and independently at home and as well as supporting with both work and social activities. Our aim is to enable and empower people to live they choose. At the moment, we cover Brighton, Hove and East Sussex.
Having care for the first time, or changing care service is an incredibly personal, maybe daunting task for most people. We know that no two clients are the same, which is one of the things our brilliant care team (we call them personal assistants, or PAs) love about their job.
Possability People: At Home is a Care Quality Commission registered home care service, rated “Good overall”. With over 20 years of service providing experience, we know about budgeting, the local scene, and the importance of the right support for you to meet your day to day support needs. We have a great deal of experience in supporting people who have a whole range of different health conditions, including support for people who have complex packages of care organised.
We can provide medical support and personal care, as well as other tailor made arrangements to best suit you. We put together bespoke arrangements, with no calls less than an hour, and we will ensure you have consistency, with the same PA coming to you on the same day and time each call.
We work in Brighton, Hove and East Sussex, and as an independent charity, we can reinvest our profits in our community. So as well as receiving a high quality, safe service, you are also giving something back.

“Possability People are great at looking after Mum who has dementia but still lives at home. The carers are all very friendly, relaxed and patient. Mum gets the same three carers each call which is so helpful as it enables her, and us, to get to know them well."
“As the weather was nice today Anna and I decided to have a walk to the gardens near her home and take a flask of coffee with us. It was lovely to sit and talk and enjoy all the beautiful colours of the spring planting, and listen to the birds.”
Her family continued: “At Home are great at contacting us if there are any worries and keep us informed on how Mum is doing. We can all relax knowing she is being well looked after by people she knows and likes.”
